For retired head school custodian Lynn Bates, her local senior center’s ceramics class is an opportunity to not only express her creativity, but herself as well. Lynn enjoys "the people. Getting together and enjoying people’s company. We all have ceramics in common."

Ceramics is so in Lynn’s blood, she not only attends this class, but another at another local senior center. As if that’s not enough, she then drives one hour to another senior center where she teaches that ceramics class.
