Approved Curricula- All of California’s approved curricula are in a database on the Statewide Training site. CFHL programs may only use classes from this database.

Instructions to download or purchase materials from CDPH Materials are free for CFHL-funded programs.

The Snap-Ed Connection has many resources. Note that only curricula on California’s list can be used for classes.

Evaluation tools are available in multiple languages. Please email SNAP-Ed.Data for these materials:

  • Demographic data cards.
  • The Food Behavior Checklist (FBC) is available in a short and a long version, and is used for nutrition education curricula with at least four classes.
  • The Adult Physical Activity Survey (APAS) is used for physical activity curricula with at least four classes.
  • Guidance on which survey to use for a curriculum.
